A software engineer's journey in building an Agricultural Social Network Marketplace designed to connect, empower, and support smallholder farmers globally.
Agriculture is the backbone of the global economy, yet smallholder farmers are often forced to operate with severe information asymmetry. What crops to grow, how to manage volatile prices, and where to secure buyers have historically been answered by traditional brokers who squeeze margins.
Flinck was conceived as an elegant technological bridge. It is not just another e-commerce platform. It is an agricultural social marketplace that connects farmers directly with peers, buyers, agronomists, and logistics partners. By eliminating intermediaries and giving users real-time pricing and crop recommendations, we allow farmers to recapture their hard-earned value.
Flinck uses high-performance web systems to bring data to the edge. Our custom offline-first synchronization enables mobile devices to pull marketplace offers, chat feeds, and agricultural tutorials over intermittent 2G/3G connections and sync data seamlessly once connected.

Live Product Platform
getflink.proEmpowering smallholder farmers, local crop buyers, and agricultural cooperatives across emerging and growing economies.
No abstract dashboards or bloated widgets. Flinck gives smallholder farmers clear, actionable answers they can use to make better decisions the same day.
Engineered to withstand low-bandwidth environments. Using lightweight protocols, local caching, and sync pipelines so the product works when farmers need it most.
Direct-to-market transactions without middleman distortion. Flinck fosters mutual trust via direct communications and identity-verified community boards.
Recognizing that smallholder farmers struggled with opaque pricing and fragmented support, designed the blueprint for Flinck. Built the high-performance Go/Rust backend to handle transactional volume and offline sync APIs.
Shipped the mobile application via React Native. Ran pilots with local cooperatives, yielding valuable real-time feedback on user patterns, device limitations, and agricultural workflows.
Expanding marketplace systems across West Africa and emerging markets, introducing localized soil/crop analytics, AI-driven advisory, and seamless micro-payment options.
